Chronic Pain and Emotions
Ok people we are going big here, all out. This is one of those take it or leave it topics, another one that I probably never fully believed or put much stock into until I truly experienced it. But we are going to talk about the correlation between your emotions, mostly your stuck or conditioned beliefs and how they effect your physical body.
Why I Love Lists
Lists actually have no bearing on your genius or ability to multitask. Lists are actually just useful because they free up your brain for what it is actually supposed to be used for: creativity. Now of course not everyone functions best on lists, and “creativity” certainly doesn’t mean you have to be an artist or designer or the like. We all have creativity when functioning in our zone of genius.
Routine Freedom
I was speaking to a friend the other day about how annoying it actually is that no one tells you its OK to break from your routine. All you ever hear is 11 steps to enlightenment, 21-days to rock hard abs, 2 weeks for a new diet, or whatever the latest fad is. No one tells you, its ok to change that!

Your first response upon reading this is of course… yes!
But I want you to take a second to really think about it, really feel into your answer.

Living in the Moment
I want to talk about something that I have really been trying this week (after our heavy topic last week) – to live in the moment. As always, I know what you are thinking, “I’m pretty sure I already do this” or “how the heck do I do that when I have to do [insert life activity]”. First, I hope you know that I love your egos questions, mine has the same! Second, as usual, let’s break it down.
My 2022 Power Statement
Ok I know what you are thinking… wow, easy girl! While I no longer feel like I need to justify a statement like this, let me break it down for you so you feel a little more comfortable using a version of this.
Love vs. Fear
There is a societal standard that dictates when you celebrate holidays, how you do that, what the expectations are, when you should feel good, when you should reorganize your life. Work like a dog through the week, drink and party all weekend to make up for it, live it up on your vacations its your only “you time”, spend holidays with your family eating too much, exchanging gifts with only monetary value, and overnight change your life, make so many resolutions that you can’t possibly succeed or sustain the drastic changes. But is that the only way?
The In Betweens
As humans in this experience, we are the creators of our own reality. In this reality, there is this magical space that exists when we are creating something new. Somewhere between the what is or what was, and the what is to come. In speaking of it, it seems like a logical simple place, somewhere that we all probably reside, the current moment. But is it really that simple? Are we really that comfortable in the current moment? I know I’m not!
Monthly Mindset: Proactive Healing
Did you see this month’s mindset intention? I am proactively healing my body. I am healthy and I am free. Right now, you might be thinking, ok Lindsay, this again… yes, this again!

Integrating your Shadow Aspects
Now I know you are asking yourself why we spent so much time talking about shedding and releasing, if I was just going to tell you that you can just integrate aspects of self. Or why I would tell you love this, light this and then say… hey we all have shadow selves, that’s ok.
Shedding the fear to be YOU
I mean the true you, the authentic you, the big YOU. Not the you that you are being to placate everyone else and fit in, the you that your Inner Being is guiding you and call you to be. The you that takes walks at lunch, that gets up to journal in the morning, that has cereal for dinner when you need some “me time”.
Shoulds and the Ego
What happens when you aren’t sure? When all you have in your head is an overwhelming amount of should. Even the things that deep down, your Inner Being knows are right are things you “should” do.
Now you must decipher your shoulds?
A Season of Shedding
So... what is the purpose of shedding?! Might be my personal opinion but, shedding allows you to get closer to yourself. You let go of what does not serve you: striving, catering to others’ opinions, perceptions, people pleasing. Ok, ok, that might be high level shedding.
Releasing Fear, the Need to Control the Outcome, and Surrendering
This sounds like the title to a terrible romcom movie or a self-help book. I prefer to think of it as the journey to reconnecting and finding your fulfillment. As we talked about previously, when you move beyond societal standards and start living in the abstract, measuring your success by FEELS like vs. LOOKS like; you might struggle with “reaching your goals”.
